Medicare resources

Start here. No homework required.

You don't need to memorize the Medicare handbook — that's my job. But if you like to read up before we talk, these guides on my PlanEnroll learning center are a clean, no-spin place to start.

Getting ready

A practical Medicare checklist.

  1. Learn when your Medicare enrollment window begins.
  2. Confirm how Medicare may coordinate with current employer or retiree coverage.
  3. Make a private list of your doctors, hospitals, prescriptions and preferred pharmacies.
  4. Think about travel, budget and whether provider-network flexibility matters to you.
  5. Call me before canceling or changing existing coverage — some changes can't be undone.
